The purpose of a BPO is to be a property evaluation tool that is used to determine the value and/or the probable selling price of a property.

A BPO is usually requested by the REO or loss mitigation department in the event the bank (or asset manager) request the property to be listed and sold should the property becomes a REO asset. 

BPOs are usually completed by local real estate agents since they are more familiar with the local real estate market.

 Our BPO contains a variety of important information for the asset manager, including:

• A summary analysis of the subject property
• A summary analysis of the neighborhood
• A list of  comparable properties currently on the market
• A list of similar properties that have sold
• A list of recommended repairs
• A suggested marketing strategy
• Pictures of the home and neighborhood.
